In line with the project’s proposal, the consortium of the approved project “Enhancing sustainable and green leather technology in Indonesia”, ref.no.: 101128907 -EDU-2023-CBHE (in short “ELEGTEC”), within the framework of the Erasmus Plus Programme, Capacity Building for Higher Education, will appoint an External auditor.

The external auditor will be selected to ensure a neutral review and a consistency in the assessment of the project deliverables versus project target groups’ needs/expectations. The tendering procedure (invitation, call for expression of interest) for the selection of the auditor will be done by CRETHIDEV (member of the project consortium) which is rersponsible for the quality assurance of ELEGTEC. The invitation will be publicized in the project media.

ELEGTEC project aims to a) the establishment of 3 Centres of Excellence for sustainable and green leather technology in three Indonesian Universities, b) the definition of the courses to be offered for training and re-training of professionals of the industry as well as the extracurricular training of students of the respective Universities, c) the establishment of laboratories and of services towards the industry, researchers and students, and their eventual influence on the modernisation of the curricula of the HEIs and on their acceptance by the sector enterprises.

The present call refers to the selection of the External Auditor, in order to verify the quality of the project, the achievement of milestones and objectives and evaluate the results of each Work Package of the project. Three reports will be produced at the end of each project year (i.e. Month 13-31.01.2025, Month 25- 31.01.2026, and M36-31.12.2026), based on the information provided by the Project Quality Manager and the Project Coordinator, according to the framework defined in the approved project. The selected External Auditor will enter a contract with the project member and Project Quality Manager, CRETHIDEV.

Deadline for application The applications must be sent by 17.12.2024 at the latest. The date the e-mail was received will be considered as the date of applying.

Duties: To perform a project-wide evaluation of all relevant aspects (timing, financing, impact, quality of outputs) and provide a Report once every year of the project (after the end of the year); the Reports will also contain suggestions of corrective and improvement measures if needed.

Deliverables: 3 (yearly) Quality Assessment reports.

Required qualifications (exclusion criteria):

• A higher education diploma
• Experience in quality assurance and evalution (minimum 2 years)
• Excellent knowledge of English (C2)

Additional qualifications (rated criteria):

• Knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia language (B2) (30%)
• Research or working experience in the TCLF sector (minimum 2 years) (40%)
• Experience in the implementation of national, EU or international projects for TCLF (30%)

• Duration: From the day of the signature of the agreement until 31/12/2026
• Compensation: 5.000,00 €

Supporting documents
Each application shall include the following documents:

• a CV of the candidate, preferably in the European format;
• a list of the supporting documents–proofs of the qualifications of the candidate relevant to the criteria of the Call;
• copies of all supporting documents listed by the candidate.

In case of legal entities:

• A company profile, which shall include at least:
• CVs of the key members of the organisation, preferably in the European format;
• A list of projects carried out by the organization that proves its experience relevant to the criteria of the Call.
